I found the article to be mundane. The installation instructions are for Ubuntu using Synaptic Package Manager.
Where older versions of Nagios do not provide host auto-discovery capabilities (scripts have been written to accomplish that task) Nagios XI does incorporate the auto-discovery feature.
No disrespect to the author, but I felt someone with that much experience in Linux could have done better with installation instructions than just clicking on Synaptic Package Manager.
