We’re pleased to announce the launch of a new Nagios Exchange at exchange.nagios.org! The new Nagios Exchange has a number of great features like image galleries, so you can actually see what you’re getting. Exchange is new, so it’s still in development – be patient while we add more features and work out some bugs.
Find the Nagios plugins, addons, and extensions you’re looking for by visiting exchange.nagios.org today. If you’ve developed plugins or addons for Nagios, add them to the directory so they whole Nagios Community can see them.
The SourceForge Community Choice Awards 2009 nomination process has started. Show some love and Nominate Nagios for ‘Best Project for the Enterprise’ or ‘Best Tool or Utility for SysAdmins’ categories.
As many of you know, a recent fork of Nagios has been announced, accompanied with a flurry of activity in both the community and press. An email thread titled “Nagios is dead! Long live Icinga!” began last week on the nagios-devel mailing list to kick this off.
What are my thoughts on this announcement? I think its one of the best things to ever happen to Nagios.
